Regional Centre for Development Cooperation is a right-based non-government and not for profit organization that has its headquarters at Bhubaneswar in the state of Odisha, India. The organization, popularly known as RCDC, is one of the premier research and policy advocacy institutions of the country working on natural resource management in the non-government sector, and is also engaged in field interventions like enterprise development.
Our strategic objectives are as under :
The organization believes that local communities have the highest stake in the treasure of natural resources, and that they can best manage their resources for their own development. As such, RCDC have been enabling the stakeholders in strengthening their inherent spirit and quality of optimal management of available natural resources and has helped them walking over hindrances in most accommodative manner. It is also trying to provide technical services to the society through its NTFP laboratory, and NTFP trade support to the primary collectors for sustainable forest-based livelihood through enterprise development. The organization has staff strength of 109+. Besides, there are field-based volunteers to support the regular staff in field interventions. RCDC provides adequate support for gender and equity. It has a gender cell too.
